The Team in Munich:

 

The German Schroders Real Estate team comprises 40 experienced professionals at the Frankfurt and Munich locations, offering both real estate fund products and direct investments. The services include investment and asset management services for institutional investors and family offices. The aim is to enable sustainable and optimal value creation for the managed properties through active asset and investment management. The working method is team-oriented, entrepreneurial, and institutionally shaped. A solid understanding of the market and the ability to implement tailor-made investment strategies according to risk/return objectives are at the forefront.

Currently, the Schroder Real Estate team manages direct mandates in the DACH region for institutional investors with a market value of over 4 billion euros.

 

 

What you’ll do

·         Assist in the management of a portfolio of real estate assets, which may include commercial, residential, retail, and mixed-use properties.

·         Support the asset management team in developing and implementing strategies to maximize property value and returns.

·         Conduct market research and analysis to understand trends and competition in the real estate market.

·         Assist in the preparation of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting for properties.

·         Participate in the due diligence process for potential acquisitions or dispositions.

·         Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

·       Collaborate with various teams including property management, leasing, finance, and legal to ensure effective property operations.

·         Attend meetings and site visits as required.

 

 

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

 

·         We are interested in hearing from candidates with Undergraduate or Postgraduate degrees in the following areas:

• Built Environment/ Real Estate, Architecture, Economics, Land Economy

• Sustainability, Environmental Sciences and Climate Studies

·         Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Ability to work well in a team environment.
