The Role
As an Asset Manager for the Residential and Impact team, you will play a pivotal role in our newly launched Impact Fund. This innovative fund aims to address social inequalities in the UK while delivering robust financial returns. You will have the opportunity to:
 
Source and deliver investments that focus on social housing, town centre regeneration, and essential community infrastructure.
Create impact-driven partnerships with local authorities, developers, and housing associations.
Oversee a dynamic portfolio of residential assets, driving financial performance while ensuring adherence to sustainability principles.
Your Responsibilities
  • Sourcing Opportunities: Engage with brokers, industry networks, and local authorities to uncover unique investment opportunities.
  • Investment Structuring: Analyse and structure partnerships, oversee bids, and manage the acquisition process.
  • Asset Management: Implement business plans, ensure successful onboarding of investments, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to achieve targeted outcomes.
  • Portfolio Oversight: Manage an institutional portfolio of existing residential assets, optimising investment returns and coordinating with consultants.
  • Fundraising Support: Assist in impactful presentations and contribute to raising capital for residential investments.
What You Bring
To excel in this role, you should have:
  • You will have demonstrable experience in the residential property sector, with a focus on sourcing and underwriting investments.
  • Knowledge of the housing market and experience in regeneration projects.
  • A strong background in asset management and familiarity with regulations such as the Building Safety Act.
  • Understanding of social inequality and a passion for making a positive difference through real estate investment.
  • Previous experience in managing junior team members is advantageous.
