We support processes from onboarding new clients, transaction processing, derivatives, daily oversight of the Funds Net Asset Value (NAV) and ensuring that we meet all our Client, Fund and regulatory obligations.
The programme

This includes on-the-job training and the opportunity to study for your CISI Level 3 - Investment Operations Certificate. The team
The Asset Servicing team in APAC is a dynamic and collaborative group, responsible for supporting corporate actions across 19 APAC markets. Operating in a challenging and fast-paced environment, the team works closely with other operations team to foster a culture of teamwork and efficiency.
We are looking for an energetic individual who will thrive in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on meeting tight deadlines and a strong interest in learning.
Responsibilities
• Perform timely corporate action events scrubbing and interpretations, to ensure accurate capture of accruals and entitlements for all mandatory and voluntary events.
• Validate to ensure timely instructions are sent to and processed by custodians, on elected decisions of impacted portfolios.
• Reconcile stock entitlements received from custodians (from notifications) on payment date, against accruals.
• Investigate and resolve all stocks and cash reconciliations breaks, identified by Reconciliation team, by liaising and engaging internal teams, custodians and/or counterparties.
• Respond to Clients, Investment Desks’ and relevant stakeholders’ queries.
• Keep abreast of market updates that impacts corporate actions and income.
• Comply with all procedures and ensure existing documentations are updated timely.
• Perform on-going review of existing processes to ensure controls are robust and methods are efficient.
• Work closely with other teams, departments and entities to better understand their needs, promote collaboration and deliver service excellence to stakeholders.
• Participate in review and implementation of change requests and projects.
The knowledge, experience and skills we are looking for:
• Detail-oriented, demonstrating accountability and ownership of work.
• Demonstrates good communication, analytical skills, and works well within a team environment.
• Ability to prioritise own workload effectively.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• You will need to study for your CISI Level 3 - Investment Operations Certificate outside of normal office hours.
