We help private clients, families, charities and some institutions meet their long term goals by offering our expertise in investment, wealth planning, lending and family office services. We draw on the resources of the Schroders group, as well as having our own in house investment team.

What you’ll do
Assist Portfolio Directors with day-to-day management of client relationships and investment portfolios, with the intention to develop the skills necessary to progress to a Portfolio Manager role. Main duties and responsibilities include:
• Ensure delivery of excellent client service, including involvement with projects to enhance the client experience;
• Understand the client's inter-family relationships, individual circumstances, long-term objectives, risk profile, mandates, restrictions and future needs;
• Report to clients in a timely manner and contribute with ideas for content;
• Prepare for and attend client meetings; write comprehensive meeting notes; and, respond to actions arising efficiently and accurately;
• Respond to client queries and administrative needs in a timely and professional manner;
• Close collaboration across all functional areas to facilitate efficient operation of accounts, resolve client issues and develop a position of trust with clients;
• Be an additional point of contact for clients when the Family Office Services Director and/or Portfolio Director are not available;
• Help monitor clients' portfolios in line with agreed Strategic Asset Allocation benchmarks and restrictions;
• Ensure investment mandate changes are captured, recorded and implemented;
• Monitor income levels for clients with specific targets;
• Maintain client data and spreadsheets for large family groups;
• Contribute to business development through helping to identify opportunities to expand the scope of services provided in support of client goals and by editing and tailoring RFPs;
• Develop an understanding of the full range of services offered by Schroders Global Family Office Service and Cazenove Capital, and their appropriateness for individual clients' portfolios;
• Oversee the setting up of new accounts to capture client wishes and instructions correctly;
• Ensure that clients are treated fairly.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
• Degree qualified, or equivalent
• Should hold the Investment Advice Diploma (IAD) qualification, or equivalent Level 4 FCA approved qualification (Preferred) *
• Study the CISI Masters in Wealth Management or equivalent FCA approved qualification
*The incumbent is required to obtain the full IAD, or equivalent FCA approved RDR compliant qualification, within a reasonable timeframe after joining the Firm.

• Some familiarity with investments, settlement and operational functions
• Able to demonstrate and evidence Continued Professional Development
