Who we're looking for
We require an individual with drive and who possesses excellent analytical skills, capable of working independently, albeit with some direction. The individual will also have very good communication skills and be able to quickly assimilate information and present it in a very clear way.
The Analyst will support the PDCA Programme Manager to enable continuing corporate growth and optimisation through the effective delivery of requirements that, in partnership with business stakeholders, enable more flexible and efficient services, ensure compliance to regulations, improve customer experience and service, improve use of technology, onboard new business solutions, realise target operating models and deliver leaner processes.
The role holder will interact with internal and external parties, be a change professional and able to engender trust in both the change process and Schroders as an exemplary partner for our external clients. We require an individual who has or can demonstrate the capability to deliver requirements across Business and Technology disciplines, within a programme framework.

The team
You will be part of a small but growing change team at Schroders Capital, established in 2022. The team drives change within Schroders Capital and its business areas (Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Debt and Credit Alternatives). As Schroders Capital is a growing area of the business, the change team has the unique opportunity to design and deliver solutions to support the business's growth strategy.
What you'll do
• Input into analysis tasks which contribute to the delivery of business outcomes as required by the Business Sponsor/Programme Manager
• Support and drive business analysis to ensure the effective delivery of Change projects, covering activities such as:
• Confirming nature and scope of change
• Impact assessment of changes
• GAP & Options analysis
• Analysis and documentation of requirements
• Design and implementation of process and organisational changes
• Interpret business requirements into process change, organisational change and system change requirements.
• Write business requirements that reflect the business including building a business case and costs benefit analysis
• Map current state process, assess the current gaps and issues in that current state to inform future state design
• Support the creation of Target Operating Models (TOMs) for discrete business domains and functions, using standard Schroders methodology
• Work collaboratively to design the future state process and structured to deliver the Future TOM
• Support capability design, process analysis and organisational transformation
• Play a key role in the implementation of change working alongside the business unit and key stakeholders to ensure that benefits are delivered and realised.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
• Over 5 years of experience as a business analyst ideally in an investment/asset management environment
• Experience of project management methodologies and playing a role in large and complex project work.
• An understanding and experience of iterative delivery methodologies, such as Agile and Scaled Agile
• Understanding of change management disciplines, processes and tools, such as:
• The key stages and lifecycle of change delivery
• Stakeholder Management
• Planning and progress tracking mechanisms
• Monitoring and managing issues, risks and dependencies
• Governance and reporting
- Experience and knowledge of Private Assets, specifically the asset classes covered by PDCA
The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help
• Awareness of a range of delivery methodologies.
• An understanding of change tools, techniques and implementation.
• Able to demonstrate a range of capabilities that will enable analysis across a range of delivery portfolios which may include:
• Complex Client and Commercial Solutions
• Corporate Functions
• Strategic business unit change
• Experience of working with business stakeholders.
• Understanding the need of our clients and the business and tailoring the approach accordingly.
• Logical, structured thought processes and good problem-solving skills.
• Good relationship management skills - able to engage with and gain confidence of others and maximise their contribution to the process.
• Good communication skills - written, pictorial, presentational and verbal at all levels within the organisation.
