Who we're looking for

We're looking for a Client Risk Analyst to join our Wealth Management division known as Cazenove Capital, which is part of the Schroders group. As a Client Risk Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the Wealth Management Client Risk team in managing and monitoring first line operational risks and controls associated with client activities. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in financial services and gain hands-on experience in risk management and compliance.

The base

The team

We are one of the largest UK-based wealth management firm, headquartered in London but with offices around the country. We help private clients, families, charities and some institutions meet their long-term goals by offering our expertise in investment, wealth planning, lending and family office services.  We draw on the resources of the Schroders group, as well as having our own in-house investment team.

What you'll do

Meeting Preparation & Facilitation: 
•    Assist in the preparation of agendas and materials for Schroder& Co/Schroder Wealth Management (US) Limited constraints meetings. 
•    Facilitate monthly S&Co/SWUSL constraint meetings and accurately document meeting minutes. 
Operational Risk Procedures: 
•    Develop, document, and maintain first line operational risk procedures. 
•    Attend forums for procedure revision discussions and contribute to ongoing improvements. 
•    Maintain and update operational procedures on SharePoint. 
Internal Audit and Compliance: 
•    Track procedure changes and ensure compliance with internal audit requirements. 
•    Respond to business queries related to operational risks and procedures. 
Training & Development: 
•    Assist in delivering the new joiner training program, providing support and resources as needed. 
•    Issue monthly Skillcast assessments and track progress, ensuring all team members complete required training. 
Account Management: 
•    Collaborate on the 'Gone Away/Dormant' account framework, ensuring proper identification and management. 
Oversight & Alerts Management: 
•    Oversee and manage the team SharePoint page, ensuring all information is current and accessible. 
•    Monitor and manage Data Leakage Prevention alerts to maintain data integrity and security. 
•    Embody the core Schroders' values of Excellence, Innovation, Teamwork, Passion and Integrity in all aspects of your work.


The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

•    Excellent IT skills, especially with the Microsoft Office suite 
•    A keen interest in the wealth management industry 
•    Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. 
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to multi-task.
