Who we’re looking for

We are looking to hire an experienced Business Change Manager to cover business change management for China portfolios, including driving and delivering China project strategies enabling the business to develop onshore product range, investment, distribution capabilities as well as application of onshore business licenses.

This will be a 6 months contract based in Hong Kong reporting to the Programme Manager, APAC Group Change under Head of Group Change, APAC/IT Country Manager, Greater China.

What you’ll do

  • Overall change management to ensure successful delivery of China strategic initiatives
  • Work closely with distribution functions to understand local processes, pain points, key risks, dependencies
  • Actively working with business to ensure effective delivery of the project & related activities, covering:
    • Data Access of Information o Business Readiness
    • Data Enhancement & Migration o Impact assessment of changes
    • Client and Product Mapping
    • Enhance user stories and provide clarity
    • Pre UAT/Go-Live Training o Design and management of the implementation of process and organizational changes
  • Design and implement change management strategies and plans to increase adoption and usage
  • Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications
  • Apply a structure methodology and lead change management activities
  • Co-ordinate and steer business & infrastructure teams to deliver China initiatives including but not limited to FMC, QDLP, PFM and additional China projects in line with group strategy
  • Manage stakeholder communications and ensure key stakeholders are informed of latest status, issues and risks
  • Leadership of Project Working Group and project status reporting to Steering Committee and senior management
  • Development and maintenance of project documentation
  • Keep abreast of and report on developments on the onshore market including regulatory changes and competitors’ actions


The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

  • Degree graduate with at least 7-10 years of PMO/ project management/ business analysis experience in a financial services, preferably in asset management
  • Experience in China projects is preferred;
  • Experience of Target Operating Model (TOM) design for a new business
  • Competency in Mandarin language and written Chinese will be essential as this role will need to interact with our internal China stakeholders.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to engage professionally and influence tactfully at all levels within the organisation
