Schroders in Switzerland is a renowned Financial Institution with around 400 employees located in Zurich and Geneva. For our private clients we provide tailor made investment solutions and complementary financial services. We invest in a broad range of asset classes across equities, fixed income, multi-asset and alternatives. We also specialize in providing high-quality private equity solutions to our clients.

 

As an Investment Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to our clients on a range of investment strategies. You will play a key role in shaping our investment offerings, while ensuring our clients' investment objectives are met. The role is based in Geneva.

 

We are looking to hire an

 

Investment Consultant

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

·         Provide direct and indirect investment advice on all asset classes to clients based in Switzerland, UK, Europe and Middle East

·         Provide and generate investment ideas, portfolios reviews and sales material to Relationship Managers and clients

·         Provide advisory and discretionary investment management services alongside relationship managers

·         Prepare documents and presentations for client meetings and pitches

·         Proactively oversee advisory mandates

 

Requirements & Qualifications:

 

·         At least 5+ years proven experience in an investment consulting or related role within the wealth management industry

·         Higher finance education or specialised finance qualifications (CFA, AZEK, CAIA), an advantage

·         Deep knowledge about all asset classes and investment instruments

·         Entrepreneurial investment mindset

·         High Level of interpersonal skills, ability to discuss and present complex investment matters clearly to clients and RMs

·         High IT skills including programming languages or AI, Excel, Refinitiv, Data stream

·         Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and French, Spanish a plus

·         Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
