Department Overview: Client Group
The Client Group encompasses Sales, Marketing, Client Service, and Product Management on a global scale. As we continue to grow and evolve, embedding data at the heart of decision-making processes across these functions is crucial. The Client Insights Unit (CIU) supports this strategy by delivering actionable insights and data-driven decision-making tools, enabling our teams to operate efficiently and effectively.

The Senior Business Analyst Role will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our vision of creating a cohesive and smooth less experience for our users  across our various systems and applications ensuring the integrity and quality of data is consistently maintained and aligned with business needs globally. This role requires close collaboration with senior stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, and Client Service & Product to deliver a seamless experience.

Role Purpose
The Senior Business Analyst will support the Client Insights Unit (CIU) with a primary focus on CRM-related projects while considering the broader impact on CIU's reporting, data science, and AI capabilities. This role involves deeply understanding users' needs and ensuring that solutions developed are seamlessly embedded into users' daily workflows, reducing friction in adoption and maximizing efficiency. The Senior Business Analyst will work cross-functionally, integrating CRM solutions with data-driven insights to facilitate informed decision-making across the Client Insights Unit.

What you'll do

Business Analysis & Solution Design:
•    Lead requirement gathering and analysis efforts for CRM projects, while assessing potential impacts on reporting, data science, and AI initiatives;
•    Translate business requirements into actionable user stories, ensuring that solutions are aligned with the CIU ecosystem's broader objectives;
•    Conduct impact assessments for proposed changes, ensuring alignment with CIU's data and AI strategies and 
•    Work closely with CRM technology teams to produce specifications and functional requirements.

Implementation and Change Support:
•    Collaborate with CIU teams to design, manage, and implement process improvements, embedding solutions into user workflows seamlessly;
•    Support global coordination of functional and business requirements across CIU teams, promoting globally consistent processes and 
•    Deliver training to users on new and existing processes, emphasizing ease of integration and minimal disruption.

Cross-Team and Global Collaboration:
•    Build and maintain effective working relationships across CIU teams, including Data Science, Business Intelligence, and Production Support and 
•    Champion globally efficient and consistent working practices across CIU and Distribution functions.

Stakeholder Engagement:
•    Act as a primary contact for CRM-related projects, advising on best practices to meet client-facing teams' requirements and
•    Regularly engage with stakeholders to ensure clear communication of data and CRM initiatives, aligning with business needs and priorities.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
•    Proven experience in business analysis within multi-stakeholder environments, with excellent communication skills adaptable across organizational levels;
•    Demonstrated experience with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce Sales Cloud, including relevant certifications or training (e.g., Trailhead);
•    Strong analytical skills with experience in agile project management frameworks and
•    Ability to balance multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment, with an understanding of data reporting and analytics impact.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help
•    Experience in asset management or financial services, with knowledge of distribution data (e.g., AUM, Flows, Holdings) and
•    Familiarity with data science and AI concepts, particularly as they relate to CRM and data-driven decision-making.
