Overview of role

This role sits within an initiative to simplify and standardise Schroders Global Transfer Agency strategy.

The role will support all aspects of the construction and implementation of the new Global Transfer Agency Operating model, with particular focus on processes, procedures & controls pertaining to:
Schroders internal teams
Schroders Transfer Agency suppliers
Key thirds parties & regulators 

The role will be based in our London Head Office and will report into the Global Transfer Agency Programme Manager and involve close work with each of the individual programmes work streams within the Global Transfer Agency programme.

Key Objectives:

Ensuring that all target operating models align and meet Schroders requirements and expectations
Ensuring that all business capabilities and technical solutions are compliant and meet Schroders requirements/expectations
Ensuring that all Schroders internal teams are operationally ready prior to Live
Ensuring that all Schroders Transfer Agency suppliers are operationally ready prior to Live
Ensuring that all key third parties are operationally ready prior to Live

Key Duties:

Co-ordinate activities associated with:
defining and implementing the target operating model/s that underpin Schroders Global Transfer Agency strategy
defining and implementing details operations material (e.g. BPMs, Procedures, Controls frameworks, training)
Support the following in defining and implementing their target operating model and supporting operations material (e.g. BPMs, Procedures, Controls frameworks, training): 
Schroders internal teams
Schroders Transfer Agency suppliers 
Key third parties & regulators
Support the preparation and execution of the programme test phases
Support the following programme work streams to ensure alignment of approach, design and deliverables:
Investor Servicing
Legal & Procurement 
Transitions and migration
Maintain and track programme risks, issues and actions
Provide regular updates to the programme manager and programme team members
Participation in regular programme governance meetings (as required)

Responsibilities of the role

The role will involve:
Creation of target operating models
Creation of detailed business process maps and desktop procedures
Creation of training material
Escalation of key issues and risks in a timely manner
Management of all key project artefacts and archives
Stakeholder management of key Operating Model design players on initiative and progress

Overview of the skills and experience required

Experience of designing and participation in Operating model creation within the transfer agency industry
Experience and knowledge of transfer agency operations (Fund Accounting a bonus)
Knowledge and experience of Workflow tools and processing would be advantageous
Strong interpersonal skills
Good written and oral communication 
Organised and methodical in approach with the ability to communicate at the senior level as well as down to the detail level where required
A “can do” attitude with a passion for hitting deadlines
