Role Overview
The Performance Services team in London provides reporting and analysis for all pooled and segregated accounts managed in London & New York.

The Performance Services team in London uses the Bi-Sam performance and attribution reporting system which provides an integrated platform for data control, calculations and reporting for all pooled and segregated accounts.

This role is responsible for delivering accurate and reliable performance reporting and analysis to internal clients, including fund managers, product managers, and client directors, in a timely manner. Additionally, it involves supporting the reporting of specialised asset classes such as Equities, Fixed Income, Multi Asset, Commodities, EMD, and Property through our official performance system, B-One. The role may also require providing GIPS composites via the StatPro tool and provision of internal management reporting.

Key Responsibilities
•    Ongoing enhancement of knowledge relating to investment strategies and associated attribution requirements;
•    Engage with the Fund and Product Managers to develop reporting solutions for new products and to enhance offerings for existing complex products;
•    Maintain updated procedure notes covering general processes around new functionality as it arises;
•    Ensure that performance and attribution is calculated and reported in accordance with procedures and controls and delivered within agreed service levels;
•    Provide analysis and consultancy on GIPS composites to internal clients;
•    Quality assurance of output from performance systems, resolution of issues, including escalation to Team Manager where appropriate;
•    Act as an escalation point for more junior members of the team;
•    Resolution of queries within acceptable timeframes;
•    Liaise with peers in team and internal clients to deliver service to acceptable quality;
•    Communication with other business areas necessary to improve accuracy and reliability of performance reporting;
•    Complete tasks within agreed deadlines. Ensure any missed deadlines are communicated and recorded appropriately;
•    Identify areas within existing processes, systems, or workflows where efficiencies can be gained;
•    Develop actionable solutions or enhancements to address identified issues or opportunities;
•    Provide training to help junior analysts to enhance their skills. Offer mentorship, sharing your expertise and experience to guide their professional development and performance improvement;
•    Evaluate and test new processes or modifications to existing ones to ensure they meet desired outcomes;
•    Conduct thorough investigations into recurring or complex issues impacting the team or wider organisation; 
•    Facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders to discuss projects, progress, and issues;
•    Serve as the subject matter expert for designated tasks or areas of responsibility. Maintain up-to-date knowledge to effectively support the business and 
•    Demonstrate professional behaviour and best practices. Mentor colleagues and promote a culture of excellence.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
•    Degree or A Level (or equivalent) in numerate subject;
•    IAQ/IMC preferred;
•    Experience of influencing and interacting with other teams;
•    Demonstrate experience in working with internal clients to define and deliver to required service levels;
•    Demonstrate ability to deliver to tight deadlines and prioritise conflicting requirements;
•    Previous experience in projects advantageous;
•    Good understanding of Investment instruments;
•    Good understanding of derivative instruments and complex investment products and 
•    Good understanding of AI fundamentals.

Technical Skills
•    Demonstrate understanding of performance topics such as GIPS composites, attribution methodologies and ex-post risk statistics;
•    Demonstrate good technical understanding of Investment processes;
•    Demonstrate good technical understanding of financial instruments;
•    Experience of performance reporting for a broad range of investment products including pooled and segregated assets and 
•    Proficient in Excel. Experience with Word, PowerPoint, Visual Basic, Access and SQL advantageous.
