Specialist, Client Documentation & SOW (Wealth Management)

Overview of role

A contributing member of the Client Documentation team within Singapore Wealth Management, your role will focus on managing client documentation processes, providing guidance to the Front Office on onboarding requirements according to the Bank’s KYC/AML standards and regulatory requirements, and ensuring high standards of client static data maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for Relationship Managers and Relationship Management Assistants regarding account opening and documentation matters.
• Perform an independent reviews for all normal risk customers in accordance with regulatory requirements, the Bank’s AML/KYC policy, and procedures. Review client documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to sign-off. This includes verifying the presence of correct anti-money-laundering documents and assessing the plausibility of source of wealth information, including supporting documents to validate the client’s source of wealth/source of income. Collaborate with Compliance, where necessary.
• Support the Team in liaising with WM Compliance or Legal for complex issues or risk assessments.
• Manage the set-up, amendment, and closure of clients’ accounts, portfolios and maintenance of client static data in relevant systems. Coordinate with the Service Centre for client static data requests and issues.
• Conduct an annual independent review for normal risk customers in accordance with regulatory requirements and the Bank's AML/KYC policy and procedures.
• Handle AEOI/FATCA related documentations and reporting requirements.
• Produce monthly reports for key stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain effective procedures and controls to manage and mitigate associated risks.
• Provide support for ad-hoc projects as needed. 

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a wealth management environment
• Experience with local AML and KYC regulations applicable to private banking
• Experience with SOW corroboration 
• Experience with AEOI/FATCA
• Experience working on Temenos T24 will be an added advantage
• Meticulous and attention to details coupled with the ability to work well under pressure
• Enjoys working in a team as well as independently
• Enjoys analytical work and interacting with all levels
• Client centric while balancing business needs and control
