Join Schroders as a Treasury Risk Analyst

Your Role

We're seeking a Treasury Risk Analyst to join our Service Centre Finance team, providing Treasury Risk and regulatory services to our Wealth Management entities worldwide. This role is pivotal to our Service Centre regulatory team, which provisions Treasury risk data and regulatory services for our Wealth Management subsidiaries.

You'll be the linchpin, managing the Treasury Risk function for four of our Wealth Management subsidiaries and offering support with risk analyses and regulatory updates. You'll be the go-to expert, assessing various sources of market and liquidity risk and ensuring compliance with risk limits.

This role is based in our newly established Wealth Management Service Centre in Horsham, taking on responsibilities previously held by our Switzerland-based Service Centre.

Your Workplace

Your new professional home will be the Schroders Campus, located near Horsham in West Sussex. This is the hub for our operational teams, product reporting, and operational oversight for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Your Responsibilities

  • Producing daily market and counterparty risk reports
  • Maintaining the setup of FIS Balance Sheet Manager
  • Conducting specific market and liquidity risk analyses
  • Preparing documents for management committees and senior management
  • Ensuring SLA KPIs and Group reporting deadlines are met
  • Supporting the business with ad-hoc requests
  • Participating in projects as they arise
  • Acting as back-up to other team members
  • Producing and maintaining standardised procedure documentation

Your Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Treasury, Market Risk, or Asset and Liability Management
  • Proficient understanding of frameworks for managing market and liquidity risk
  • Familiarity with market data provider software such as Refinitiv
  • Prior experience with market risk management tools, preferably FIS Balance Sheet Manager
  • Proficiency in using MS Office suite
  • A proactive, self-driven individual with strong analytical capabilities
  • Efficient time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with Management Studio for SQL-based information querying
  • Previous experience in the Financial Services sector
