Who we’re looking for
We are looking for a Working Student in our Private Equity Product Management team. You will be working in Zurich. We aim to onboard you in January 2025.
As part of Schroders Capital, you will assist team members in the management and fundraising of our private equity funds.

The team
Since forming in 1997, Schroders Capital’s private equity business has successfully expanded into all areas of private equity – global Venture Capital, European and US buyouts, Asia Growth, with investment teams on the ground in Zurich, London, New York, Singapore, Shanghai, Beijing and Seoul. The team comprises 70+ investment and risk management professionals and currently has AuM of USD 19bn. The role will be within the Private Equity Product Management team comprising 16 people.
What you'll do
The working student will have significant responsibilities from day one and become an integral part of the team, with high levels of interaction with investment professionals, legal and financial advisors, and executive managers of the invested companies. Key responsibilities for the intern will include:
- Work in close alignment with Investment, Fund Operations and Legal teams for the development and management of private equity funds and mandates
- Support the preparation of Private Placement Memorandums (PPMs), pitch books and other materials
- Prepare and gather competitor information on products and investment strategies, including comparable performance data
- Support the sales teams in their business activities, including but not limited to providing information on Schroder Capital’s products, RFPs, dataroom management and handle client information requests
- Support Sustainability and Impact information requirements for private equity funds and mandates
- Review and oversight of sales pipeline and CRM systems (Salesforce) to ensure information is up to date and accurate for management reporting purposes
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
- Enrolled student at a university or university of applied sciences
- Excellent academic background
- One previous internship/previous experience in one of the following areas is beneficial: M&A, Project Finance, Private Equity or Consulting
- Fluency in English and German
- Strong analytical and writing skills
