Overview of role

  • Sale of Schroders retail products through intermediaries in Singapore
  • Client Servicing 

Key Responsibilities:

Sales

  • Proactive in selling and promotion of Schroders funds to clients through building excellent relationships and understanding clients’ business model and fund selection process.
  • Deliver effective presentations to clients by building strong value propositions in core investment strategies such as focused funds and preparing high quality presentations slides.
  • Key contact for designated clients and prospects
  • Continuously monitor sales and redemption from clients and recommend action plan where necessary
  • Assist in the preparation of RFI and liaise with due diligence teams to ensure successful product approval 

Client Servicing

  • To provide “best-in-class” service to clients by ensuring excellent knowledge of markets and funds which is disseminated to clients on a timely basis
  • Working on tight deadlines to provide bespoke information to clients 
  • Keep abreast of industry and regulatory development and competitors’ products
  • Maintain knowledge of all key market, economic and fund and investment views from SIM London including webcasts so as to be effective when servicing clients 

Essential Skills

  • At least 5 years’ relevant business development and distribution experience
  • Have already passed all the necessary regulatory licenses required to perform the sales roles, such as M3, M5 and M8a
  • Have good experience in preparing sales related materials using MS PowerPoint
  • Have good understanding of financial terminology used in mutual fund industry
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with business and technology partners
  • Passionate about the digital space with an innovative mindset for continued improvement and transformation to support business growth
  • Team player and contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as required.
