Platform Support Manager - Investment Operations

About The Role
Key to this role is the successful management of the relationship with our third-party suppliers, specifically Blackrock software. Specifically, your responsibility will be to handle all Aladdin related issues diligently, liaising closely with the supplier to ensure a swift resolution of any problems. The urgency of this role requires an individual who remains calm under pressure, capable of managing conflicts while prioritising and addressing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Location
Our Schroders Campus located near Horsham in West Sussex is the hub for EMEA Operations and Technology Operations. The campus merges the high standards and recognised reputation of our London HQ with the tranquillity of the countryside, providing a perfect blend of city professionalism without the metropolitan chaos.
Your Responsibilities
- Managing the daily service provision and support supervision of Aladdin with the external supplier BRS
- Handling second-line Aladdin-related enquiries globally with a primary focus in the EMEA region
- Troubleshooting user enquiries and directing them accordingly
- Addressing Aladdin issues/incidents and liaising with stakeholders for resolution
- Being the primary escalation point to BRS for critical business issues
- Mentoring, coaching and enhancing team members’ skills
Experience & Qualifications Required
- Experience managing relationships with third-party suppliers, specifically within asset management software environments
- Experience within the front office environment of an asset management firm is a must
- Robust understanding of fund management business and Order/Trade workflow
- Technical proficiency and broad understanding of a range of investment products
- Proven capability to define and document business problems in a complex investment environment
- Strong communication skills and the capacity to operate under pressure
Desirable
- Experience in a service management role or knowledge of BlackRock Aladdin Solution and other Asset Management Systems
- Understanding of the ITIL framework
