Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Fixed Income Portfolio Manager with knowledge in corporate credits to manage client discretionary portfolios and to support the investment advisory needs of the team pertaining to the asset class.

What you’ll do

  • Ensure the Fixed Income Discretionary Portfolio Management (FI DPM) portfolio strategies and performance meets clients’ needs
  • Responsible for portfolio construction, positioning, rebalancing and monitoring. This includes country, sector and security selection.
  • Update and advise clients and Relationship Managers on relevant FI market development and views
  • Contribute to and oversee the marketing material for the FI DPM offering
  • Write the commentary for the monthly FI DPM report that is distributed to clients
  • Provide regular portfolio reviews and credit outlook to Relationship Managers and clients
  • Work with various teams to improve upon the operational efficiency around the FI DPM Offering
  • Carry out active risk management within portfolio strategy implementation and security selection
  • Analysis of portfolio performance and attribution
  • Support / work with senior managers in portfolio management and business development efforts
  • Participate in Asia Investment Committee and Fixed Income Asset Class Group meetings
  • Assist in building the advisory business, engaging relationship managers to offer solutions and strategies aligned with their clients’ objectives

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

  • Extensive knowledge of fixed income markets, especially Asian corporate credits.
  • At least 8 years’ experience in fixed income investing with some portfolio management experience.
  • Ability to clearly articulate investment ideas to internal and external audiences.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help

  • Experience in managing private client portfolios and client interaction.
  • CFA qualification.
