We are looking for an analyst to join the Portfolio Implementation Team, a part of the Global and Thematic Implementation Team. The analyst should be organised and hard working and interested in getting exposure to a wide variety of roles the team takes on.

What you’ll do

The Implementation Analyst role is vital to the Investment process helping implement Fund Manager decisions, managing cash and providing Investment desk support.  In this role you will work within the Implementation Team managing the implementation of investment models working closely with the Fund Managers aiding in the design of the investment process. You are also required to oversee cash management, implement hedge strategies and the instruction of corporate actions.  Your main stakeholder is the Investment team. 

An Implementation Analyst’s main customer is their Investment team, however they also provide a vital link between Operations, Client Service teams and the Fund Manager.  They will also work together with the Trading team on the implementation of trades and liquidity management, instructing contingent trades.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

  • Experience of at least 2-3 years in a front office support role
  • A good understanding of equity securities and markets, including derivatives
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and multi task
  • Strong in both written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships across teams or departments
  • Have an understanding of process and how operation and support teams work
  • Keen interest in financial markets and instruments
  • A critical thinker who's able to look at things from different angles and enjoys solving problems
  • Able to identify areas that need attention or have gaps and suggest and drive solutions.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help

  • Knowledge of Aladdin – PFC, PFM and Dashboard
  • Previous use of Eikon
  • IMC preferred or willingness to complete.
