Key Responsibilities
• Maintain Service Catalogue – ensure catalogue is relevant and contains up to date information relevant to the reporting service
o Work with key stakeholder network to communicate the core reporting service and strategy.
o As and when required, attend regular service check ins with key stakeholders in Client Group (as deputy for Head of Reporting Services)
o Proactively work with key stakeholders and users on reporting initiatives
o Upcoming change communication
o User feedback sessions
• Follow the change governance framework: Co-ordinate and help run the small change and maintenance book of change for Reporting areas (specifically Client Reporting), including working with tech partners/vendors on their delivery roadmaps.
o Ensure all change submitted and prioritised through the Reporting Design Authority (RDA) aligns with the change governance framework, is assessed against the impact to the core service.
o Working with the Reporting Ops SMEs and technical specialists, assess feasibility of request – impact on core service: process and tool availability.
o Produce feasibility summary to support RDA prioritisation and decision making.
o For approved changes, document the requirements for the vendor / tech team to define a reports solution and where appropriate produce a statement of work
o For committed solutions, work with the vendor/tech partner to prioritise and deliver the change
• Acting as a proxy SME/Product Owner for reporting CTB projects
o Proactively drive the Reporting strategy and framework within project teams and ensure this is reflected in the proposed solutions.
o Through impact assessment / gap analysis, create business requirements and ensure these capture the transition from project to BAU.
o Document process flows and facilitate the creation of supporting procedures for new processes within Reporting Operations
o Ensure correct implementation of requirements (testing / operational readiness control gate)
• Collaborate on solution design
• Provide QA of any new change to ensure ready for Production
• Co-ordinate and run client and fund on-boarding processes where the requirements fall outside of the BAU operations teams' processes.
What you'll do
Reporting to the Head of Reporting Services, the Business Analyst role will have a Business Analysis focus with a flexible mindset and work with all Reporting teams and key stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of Reporting change and projects. The role will also be responsible for managing key stakeholder relationships across Client Group.
The role involves coordinating and managing small changes, onboarding and maintenance for the Reporting areas, including Fund Reporting, Client Reporting, Statutory Reporting and Reporting Data. This includes triaging change requests, producing feasibility summaries, documenting requirements for approved changes, and working with tech partners and vendors to deliver the changes. The role also involves acting as a proxy SME/Product Owner for reporting CTB projects. Collaboration on solution design and providing QA for new changes are also part of the responsibilities.
The role requires someone who is analytical in their thinking, understands the Client Reporting landscape, is solution focused and drives the best outcome for our clients, the business and the team. The role holder will align with innovative solutions, be able to identify problems and work to resolve them end-to-end. The role will hold accountability for appropriate reporting on change projects and providing updates to the necessary stakeholders.

Discharge of responsibilities
The role holder shall ensure that all their responsibilities are performed to the highest levels of integrity, quality and transparency and in a manner most likely to promote the success of the Schroders Group, taking into account the interests of key stakeholders including clients, employees, regulators, suppliers and society as a whole.
In discharging their responsibilities, the individual shall establish appropriate oversight and control structures for all areas under their control where needed.
Reporting Obligations
In discharging their responsibilities, the role holder shall
• Ensure that Head of Reporting Services is made aware of any issues which the Business Analyst deems material
• Provide to the Head of Reporting Services an annual assessment of their own performance against objectives agreed with them

Where applicable, the role holder must fulfil his/her responsibilities for their Committee Memberships
