Who we're looking for 
We are searching for a talented and motivated junior professional to join our Structuring Team at Schroders. As a junior member of the team, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities related to financial engineering, option pricing, back-testing, and client support.

The Team
The RMI (Risk Management and Investment) team at Schroders plays a crucial role in managing and mitigating risks associated with investments. 
The RMI team at Schroders consists of portfolio managers, solution managers, traders, and structurers. This position will be part of Schroders' RMI team, specifically within the structuring team. The structuring team is dedicated to creating and implementing innovative investment solutions tailored to meet the specific requirements of clients.

What you'll do
•    Develop and implement structured investment products tailored to meet the specific requirements of our clients;
•    Collaborate with solution managers and other stakeholders to create customized investment strategies;
•    Utilize your programming skills in VBA, Python, and database management to build efficient tools for running back-tests on investment strategies. These tools will assist the Structuring Team in evaluating and refining investment approaches based on historical data, providing valuable insights for clients;
•    Apply your programming expertise to develop robust tools that streamline the back-testing process, automating data analysis and enabling the team to effectively assess the performance of different strategies and
•    Stay up-to-date with market trends and innovative financial solutions to identify new ideas for clients.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
•    Sound understanding of financial engineering principles and option pricing models;
•    Familiarity with programming languages such as VBA and Python, having some experience in developing tools for investment strategy analysis;
•    Strong analytical skills and a passion for continuous learning and development;
•    Interest in financial markets and investment products, with a desire to stay informed about industry trends;
•    Collaborative team player with effective communication and
•    Proactive and self-motivated attitude towards skill enhancement and staying up-to-date with industry developments.
