Who we're looking for
This role will be a 12-month fixed term contract role.
The Third Party Supplier Risk Analyst will support the Third-Party Supplier Risk Manager to develop and embed our supplier governance framework and policies. This includes taking ownership of all suppliers' due diligence processes, the supplier on-boarding process, pre and post contract due diligence, the maintenance of supplier records and providing regular and timely reporting and insights on Schroders' supply chain. This includes but is not limited to contract data, contract ownership and contacts, supplier risk information such as information security, modern slavery, financial crime, credit risk etc. This will involve ensuring compliance with policies, and regular engagement with colleagues and stakeholders around the organisation.
You'll be a strong communicator capable of engaging and supporting internal clients/stakeholders through essential due diligence operational processes. You will be articulate when engaging stakeholders with a willingness to provide a service whilst recognising the key control role they play in mitigating supply chain risk.
You'll be enthusiastic, curious, keen to learn and constantly seeking to improve process and service offering, a flexible, adaptable attitude is more important than prior experience in finance.

What you'll do
You'll be a member of the Supplier Oversight team which is responsible for ensuring that our supplier partners are selected appropriately, onboarded correctly and are compliant with regulatory obligations and Schroder's policies and procedures. This team sits alongside the Third Party Risk Management Centre of Excellence who are responsible for creating a suite of tools templates and guidance materials to support the Schroders businesses in meeting the ongoing Supplier Management requirements for their Third-Party Suppliers.
Responsibilities include:
• Act as first point of contact for supplier onboarding, amendments, maintenance and offboarding.
• Provide due diligence and screening services to support stakeholders and Procurement colleagues - assessing supplier risk prior to selection and on-going monitoring throughout the supplier lifecycle; ensuring compliance with Procurement, Financial Crime, Legal, Info Sec, Credit risk, IR35, Modern Slavery, ESG, SPW and Scottish Widows requirements.
• Supply chain tail oversight and periodic deactivation of one-time suppliers and suppliers with no recent spend activity.
• Uploading and maintenance of all supplier information such as contracts and related documents (e.g. schedules, statements of work etc), risk profile, due diligence review outputs and assessments onto the central contracts database.
• Interpreting contracts to capture key contract metadata e.g. start/end dates, notice periods, owners etc.
• Timely Contract Database and Outsource Register maintenance; ensuring system data integrity is fully managed and proactively enriched to support supplier contract reporting.
• Providing regular reporting to colleagues and stakeholders on supply chain risk and timely notifications of contract and due diligence review cycles.
• Supporting supplier service criticality assessments and ensuring all records are kept up to date and available.
• Working with Business Owners, maintaining oversight of supplier reviews and outputs, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements.
• Managing all processes and controls to ensure all supplier information is recorded, maintained and regularly reviewed.
• Supporting Compliance monitoring and Internal Audit exercises, ensuring actions are completed within deadline.
• Undertake data analytics and MI reporting to inform strategy and enable oversight capabilities.
• Continuously improving and managing the new supplier due diligence, on-boarding and purchasing processes.
• To support the development and enhancements of operational processes related to supplier oversight activities.
• Champion continual improvement and procurement best practice within the global business.
• Contributing to the strategic goals of Procurement, Finance and Schroders.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
• Experience of onboarding and managing supplier records in a P2P system is preferrable.
• Ability and experience in facilitating supplier due diligence activities across technical specialists (e.g. Operational Risk, Information Security, Credit Risk, Financial Crime, Legal) globally.
• Undertaking supplier risk assessments and screening, both during on-boarding and on an ongoing basis.
• Experience of inputting, maintaining and extracting data; building insightful reports.
• Strong analytics experience to understand and interpret management information.
• Excellent IT and numeracy skills, especially Microsoft Office.
• Experience of process implementation, management and improvement.
• Experience of building and maintaining strong Stakeholder Relationships.

• Experience of ServiceNow (TechLink), Oracle Fusion and Refinitiv World-Check systems.
• Experience of using Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) systems.
• Experience of using Power BI reporting suite.
• Data focus, commitment to ensuring integrity of all data held.
• Experience of coordinating a project to gather all contract and supplier information and transitioning to a business-as-usual operating model.
• Technical experience of design and implementing contract database / supplier management systems.
• Additional language(s) beneficial.
