The base

The team
The Marketing Campaign Management team is positioned in the central Marketing and Communications department. As part of the broader Strategic Marketing team, you will be working in a dynamic, stimulating, and collaborative environment. 
With the adoption of a new Target Operating Model (TOM) there is a need to orchestrate resources around campaigns and projects in the most effective way, leveraging the broader department’s expertise in the various marketing disciplines alongside the understanding of client segments. The Marketing Campaign Management team will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and monitoring a clear and effective plan for all Marketing campaigns (internally referred to as “story packages.” These are prioritised based on business objectives together with the broader Client Group function where Marketing and Comms sits. The team will function as an overarching resource for a more effective campaign management approach, working across central and local marketing teams globally to ensure there is an achievable roadmap in place for delivering story packages.


Key Accountabilities: General

•    Take ownership of and deliver complex Story Packages end-to-end, ensuring regional alignment throughout
•    Provide clear and concise reporting of the project status, actions, and prohibitive risks, to colleagues and senior stakeholders
•    Support the Team Lead in appointing members of the Story Package Working Groups (WG)
•    Inform and manage relevant stakeholders on progress of Story Packages
•    Monitor and provide reports to management on performance KPIs
•    Ensure they have a deep understanding of regional priorities and key stakeholders 
•    Support the Team Lead with preparation for planning meetings
•    Be a “best practices” resource for marketing projects, keeping abreast of emerging technologies and online / offline / social / email successes
•    Support team set-up by creating templates, best practice doc and training material for strategy WG members
•    Manage conflicts of interest and blockers arising from the strategy Working Group & co-creation team
•    Manage and track allocated Story Package budget.


Key Accountabilities: Stakeholder Management and Leadership

•    Face off to internal and external stakeholders outside of Marketing & Comms on matters related to Story Packages (e.g., performance across all Story Packages and requests)
•    Function as first point of escalation/support for Story Package delivery teams
•    Manage multiple stakeholders within Working Groups, coordinating across the marketing function and wider business
•    Working closely with the Digital experience and Digital Marketing Transformation teams and other project representatives, deliver against at the key Schroders group objectives
•    Demonstrate a strong ability to develop relationships with cross-functional teams and/or agency partners, with a strong focus on collaborative working 


Risk and Control 
•    Ensure that all activities and duties are conducted in full compliance with regulatory requirements, enterprise wide risk management framework and internal Schroders policies and policy standards
•    Support a culture of conduct risk across the teams
•    Ensure all activity adheres to the marketing approval matrix and governance process.


The knowledge, experience, and qualifications you need
•    Experience and track record in general marketing, digital marketing, performance marketing and marketing operations with a solid background in senior stakeholder engagement. Preferably in financial services
•    Strong focus on the innovation of project delivery processes and the role of marketing to drive business development / growth
•    A strategic thinker who has worked on global projects / campaigns / digital systems roll-outs
•    Analytical mindset for the identification of synergies across Story Packages, the assessment of KPIs and evaluation of ROI.
•    Expertise in the creation of omnichannel marketing assets (ATL & BTL media channels) for internal and external email lists, blogs, affiliates, paid search, and social media marketing
