As a Lead Specialist 2, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Cash and Treasury functions. Your expertise and leadership will help us manage risk, optimize workflows, and maintain high standards of service for our clients. You will be a Cash and Treasury Operations subject matter expert with responsibility for a range of tasks, ensuring these are executed in a timely and professional manner. You will lead Cash and Treasury Operations specialists and provide cover for the team manager.

What you'll do

•    Manage and oversee all cash flow processes, both interbank and client-related.
•    Handle collateral and cash management with a high level of expertise.
•    Utilize Microsoft Office tools effectively to support daily tasks.
•    Leverage experience with the T24 system to enhance operational efficiency.
•    Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
•    Communicate effectively with team members and external counterparties.
•    Support team activities and business operations, offering assistance wherever possible.
•    Adapt quickly to changes and promote an innovative culture within the team.
•    Settling of repo/reverse repo and money market placements.
•    Undertake the transmission/receipt of settlement instructions and payment/receipt of settlement amounts.
•    Prepare, maintain, and supervise daily and intraday nostro cash positions with Correspondence banks and custodians.
•    Maintain counterparty static data including settlement instructions and limits.
•    Manage collateral relating to OTC derivative positions.
•    Ensure the daily settlement of the bank and building society deposits (BBD) as well as monthly capitalization work.
•    Undertake reversals, adjustments, and corrections of client Treasury deals.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

•    IMC or IOC qualification required.
•    Strong understanding of cash flow processes.
•    Good knowledge of collateral and cash management.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
•    Experience with the T24 system is beneficial.
•    Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
•    Ability to develop and manage strong working relationships.
•    Receptive to feedback and open to change.
•    Expertise in Cash and Treasury Operations.
•    Ability to handle complex issues throughout their lifecycle.
•    Experience in managing risk and optimizing workflows.
•    Strong collaboration skills with Investment, Operations, and Accounting colleagues.
•    Leadership skills to direct and assign workloads across the team daily.
